BUDDY READING WE LOVE IT AT RICHIE HILL

The very successful Buddy Reading Program that operates at Richmond Hill State School continues to nurture a love of books, literacy support and the importance of reading across all grades. Richie Hill’s older students have stepped up to become “buddies” and work with younger students in reading and other activities such as games and puzzles during the week.

Year 7 students have shown great interest and care in their efforts when working with preppies. Year 1 and 2 students have been guided by Year 5 students.
